From the opening analog refrain, a place where metallic synths splash and stomping beats do-roll you know Moderat is to be a beautifully programmed work. And so it transpires; two-step riddims puncture the teutonic sheen, torrents of spectral white noise cascade, vocals writhe, with hooks in their mouths and digital keys shimmer with exceptional results.
